- Professor, Faculty of Political Science and Economics and Dean, Center for International Education, Waseda University. He received his Ph.D. in Graduate School of Economics from Waseda University. He became Professor, Faculty of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University in April 1999 after serving as Associate Professor and Professor at Kokushikan University for 14 years. Currently, partially serving as a Member of Labor Policy Council, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, Executive Vice President of Japan Academy of International Business Studies. His major publications include A Comparative Analysis of International Human Resource Management (Yuhikaku, 2006); HRM under the China Shift (Hakutou Shobo, 2005); International Human Resource Management in Asia' JPC-SED (1999); International Human resource Management of Japanese Corposrations (JIL-PT, 1995).
