Fellowship (Research Assistant)
Fiscal Year 2007, 5 Fellows

2007.10.01

Every year, excellent doctoral students within the university whose research fields are related to Asian regional integration, are invited to apply for core positions in the cultivation of talented individuals by GIARI. Applicants who pass the written application as well as a screening interview are approved by GIARI members during the general meeting. While engaging in GIARI projects, accepted doctoral students are also required to achieve sufficient research results (presentations at academic conferences, contributions of refereed papers, preparation of working papers, etc.) as a step to receive their doctoral degrees.

Fiscal Year 2007

Applications within the university were received in September, and five of the 17 applicants were selected. 2007 was a significant year because the accepted doctoral students played a central role in establishing a horizontal and substantial research network among doctoral students.
