早稲田大学商学学術院准教授。専門は，国際貿易論，多国籍企業論。コロラド大学で経済学博士号取得。アジア経済研究所研究員，国際東アジア研究センター主任研究員を経て，2009年4月より現職。最近の論文に“Modeling FDI-induced Technology Spillovers,” (巻頭論文), International Trade Journal (2010); “Export-led Growth via Export Platform Strategies: The Impact of Free Trade Agreements on the Structure of FDI,” World Economics (2009); “A Decomposition of Factors Influencing Horizontal and Vertical FDI: A Separate Analysis,” Eastern Economic Journal (2009); “Extending the Learning-by-exporting Hypothesis: Introducing a Credit Constraint”, International Advances in Economic Research (2009); “Lewis Growth Model and China’s Industrialization,” Asian Economic Journal (2008) 等がある。
